Rebel Wilson‘s BAFTA ceremony speech discussed #OscarsSoWhite and people are going CRAZY.
At Sunday evening’s BAFTAs ceremony, Rebel Wilson, the Australian actress known for her roles in Pitch Perfect and Bridesmaids, poked fun at the diversity controversies surrounding this year’s awards season.
Speaking on stage at the BAFTA awards, Wilson says she has “never been invited to the Oscars, because you know, they are racists”.
She adds:
“As you know, they are racists. But the BAFTAs have diverse members. And that’s what we all want to see in life, isn’t it? Diverse members. One day, I hope to return here to win a BAFTA myself. I have already been practicing my transgendered face.”
Wilson paused and tried to move onto the Best Supporting Actor category, but she got distracted and “a bit nervous” by Idris Elba’s presence in the audience.
“I’m sociologically programmed to want chocolate on Valentine’s Day.” Elba’s reaction face was priceless.

I honest to god hate Rebel Wilson’s “edgy” humor, especially after that police brutality joke she made at the VMAs.
