The Queen of Snapchat, Katie May, has died at the young age of 34.
May had been hospitalized since Monday after suffering a stroke due to a blockage in her carotid artery. She died on Thursday after being taken off life support.
TMZ reports May suffered a neck injury after a fall during a photoshoot last week, which could have led to the stroke. She reportedly got check out for the pain and was released the same day. However, she continued to have issues. May even tweeted about her discomfort.
She would later post her final picture on Instagram on Monday:
The model’s work has been featured across the world in several magazines. But, she was most known for her massive social media following. The working model had 2 million followers on Instagram.
May worked in PR before getting into modeling, and in a recent interview said her journey has had a lot of lessons, but “the most valuable would have to be as a single mother.”
May is survived by a seven-year-old daughter.
