The 87th Annual Academy Awards is nearly here and it looks like the competition is tougher than ever.
The Academy Awards will honor the best films of 2014 and will take place tonight during at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, Los Angeles. Neil Patrick Harris is scheduled to host the ceremony honoring the best actors and filmmakers of 2014.
The nominees for the 87th Academy Awards were announced on January 15th by Cheryl Boone Isaacs, president of the Academy, directors J. J. Abrams and Alfonso Cuarón, and actor Chris Pine. Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)and The Grand Budapest Hotel tied for the most nominations with nine each.
