Z-Nation is the SyFy Network’s response to ‘The Walking Dead‘
From the network that brought the world ‘Sharknado‘ comes a new zombie apocalypse with a new show called Z Nation.
The new series seems to be a response to AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead‘ and it may not have Norman Reedus, or a sword slinging zombie assassin the show does the guy from Lost.
According to Variety, Z-Nation centers on a group of everyday men and women as they try to move the only known survivor of the zombie virus across the country to where a lab waits for his blood. But, the group of heroes must face the post-apocalyptic world while the survivor carries a major secret.
Z-Nation is produced by the same production company that made ‘Sharknado’, The Asylum, and stars Harold Perrineau, Tom Everett Scott, DJ Qualls, Michael Welch and Kellita Smith.
Syfy Network recently released the first full trailer for their zombie virus nation series. At the end of the day, the topic of discussion will be to see if Z-Nation can compete with ‘The Walking Dead‘.
“Z Nation” premieres Friday, Sept. 12 at 10 p.m. on Syfy.
