Breaking Bad Creator Begs Fans to Stop Throwing Pizzas

Date:

The creator of ‘Breaking Bad’ is sick of people throwing pizzas on top of the roof of the fictional White family.

The biggest issue with lending your home out to TV shows and movie productions is that you still have to live there after filmmakers finish filming. But, when you have a really popular show with a cult-like following, you have a really big problem.

Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan recently called for all fans to stop throwing pizzas on top of the roof of an apparent elderly couple living in the home used for the fictional White family on Breaking Bad.

In an interview on the Better Call Saul Insider podcast published Tuesday, show creator Vince Gilligan said random pizzas have become a problem for the real-life residents of the fictional home of Walter White.

“They’re throwing pizzas on roofs and stuff like that. Let me tell you: There is nothing funny or original or cool about throwing pizzas on this lady’s roof,” Gilligan said. “It is just not funny. It’s been done before. You’re not the first.”
