Donald Glover Confirmed to Return for ‘Community’ Movie

According to co-star Joel McHale, Donald Glover is set to return in the upcoming Community movie. During a recent appearance on Kelly Ripa’s Let’s Talk Off Camera podcast, McHale shared the exciting news: “Donald’s coming back, and that’s important. The fact that Donald’s going to do it was the big piece.” He expressed his confidence in the entire cast returning, saying, “I think everyone’s coming back. I mean, so far, we’re pretty good. And I think that will happen. If not, then, you know, Donald will be there.”

While Peacock, the streaming platform for Community, has yet to officially confirm the news, McHale’s statement aligns with Glover’s comments in April to GQ magazine, where he mentioned that shooting for the movie was expected to commence soon. Glover also humorously added, “Haven’t seen the script, don’t know. In true Dan [Harmon] fashion, we’ll probably get it on the first day… it’s supposed to be happening. I know just as much about it as you do.”

With Glover’s return, the main cast, consisting of McHale, Danny Pudi, Alison Brie, Gillian Jacobs, Jim Rash, and Ken Jeong, is now complete.

Fans eagerly await further updates, including the official release date and trailer, which are yet to be announced.
