HBO new series ‘Vice Principals’ starring Danny McBride is now hiring crew in Charleston, South Carolina.
The new HBO series, Vice Principals, is now accepting crew resumes. This production will be based in the Charleston, South Carolina region and begin filming is set to begin at the end of March.
Filming for the new HBO series was supposed to film in Wilmington, North Carolina. However, after North Carolina general assembly pulled the plug on their TV and Film tax incentives, producers decided to film the new TV series in Charleston, South Carolina.
The new TV series features Danny McBride (Eastbound and Down) and Jody Hill, the creator of “Eastbound and Down” will write director the series.

After lengthy dealmaking, HBOhas closed the deals for a 18-episode straight-to-series order to Vice Principals, a new comedy series from Eastbound & Downcreators Danny McBride andJody Hill. The 18-episode run is expected to split into multiple seasons. Like he did onEastbound & Down, McBride will be starring in the new series. “Danny McBride and Jody Hill have created a smart, rowdy and unpredictable style of comedy that we
can’t get enough of,” said HBO’s Michael Lombardo. “The idea of them setting their minds on high school was irresistible.”
The new TV series centers around a high school and the people who almost run it: the vice principals, one of them played by McBride.
