Sony’s Venom movie starring Tom Hardy has been filming in Atlanta, Georgia for the past few months and should be wrapping up production around February.
Now, it is reported that the movie will film several scenes in San Francisco and Oakland next month. According to reports, producers have sent scouts to San Francisco and Oakland for filming locations. One scene may even film in the Bay.

Details surrounding the movie “Antidote” have not been released. However, according to Omega Underground, the website confirmed with two sources that the comic book adaptation will begin filming on September 1st under the working title of Antidote.
Venom is to launch a new series of movies from Sony’s Marvel and Spider-Man based universe of characters. In addition, Sony is rebooting its Marvel productions with the upcoming Atlanta filmed Spider-Man: Homecoming and Venom are the first movies in their lineup. The studio is also producing a Silver Sable/Black Cat project among other characters from the Spider-Man series.
