“The Humans” movie is now casting featured roles in New York City.
Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming in Brooklyn, New York between September 10th through October 15th.
Producers are seeking the following types:
- 1-GLASS WOMAN- SEPT 10 – SAG female, any age, any type – will be a blurry figure behind glass.
- 2-WINDOW BODY – SEPT 25 – SAG male or female, any age, any type – will be a shape moving across a window.Â
- 3-LEGS MAN – OCT 15 – SAG male, any age, any type – but will show bare legs in the shot, Hairy legs is what they want.Â
About “The Humans”:
“Humans” is a movie adaptation of the Broadway play. Richard Jenkins (The Shape of Water), Amy Schumer (Trainwreck), Steven Yeun (Burning, The Walking Dead), to star in the upcoming feature film “Humans”. The movie is set during Thanksgiving and centers around a dirty New York apartment of Brigid Blake, a musician who lives with her boyfriend, Richard. Brigid’s family comes to visit for Thanksgiving.
The play questions class issues and proposes the idea of The American Dream in the face of unexpected hardships, and the movie sounds like it could be an intense family drama that touches a nerve.

CASTING – 3 union BG for THE HUMANS, shooting in Brooklyn, NY on a stage. Please read the descriptions and follow directions. Email [email protected] with your name and the BG type you are submitting for in the subject line. Make sure your name is in the email as well.

3-LEGS MAN – OCT 15 – SAG male, any age, any type – but will show bare legs in the shot, Hairy legs is what they want. EMAIL a couple photos of your bare legs, different angles. mid thigh to bottom of feet.
I know 2 of these BG roles are far in advance but the director wants to choose them before they start shooting next week, and will just hope you stay available for those dates if chosen.
