NBC Cancels ‘Revolution’ After Two Seasons

Date:

NBC drops the axe on several shows as they cancel a ton of series.

NBC has just cancelled, Revolution.

Revolution, is the JJ Abrams post-apocalyptic drama that was extremely popular last season. But, after riding the wave of television buzz they suffered a long hiatus, and then a period of extremely low ratings. Not to mention the high budget costs for the show, NBC decided to get rid of the production, according to Deadline.

Since, NBC picked up two new series from Warner Bros. TV, including the comic book drama Constantine, which is believed to be a better replacement for Revolution.

NBC have also cancelled Crisis, Believe and Growing Up Fisher. Believe was another J.J. Abrams-produced series. The cancellation of Revolution, Believe and FOX’s Almost Human suddenly takes the number of Abrams/Bad Robot shows from four to one, with only CBS’ Person of Interest renewed.
