Matthew McConaughey is getting ready for his next feature film ‘Gold’ and casting directors are looking for you to work alongside the Academy Award winning actor.
According to KOB4, Mathew McConaughey’s ‘Gold’ will be holding an open casting call on Saturday, August 1st from 11:00am to 2:45pm at Bear Canyon Senior Center 4645 Pitt Street NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111.
According to the casting call, ‘Gold’ is searching for actors, models, and talent to work as background extras. Producers are looking for men, women and children to work as background actors in the upcoming feature film. If you have a 1980s look or a mullet, casting directors are definitely looking for you.
‘Gold’ is written by Patrick Massett and John Zinman and covers the story of the 1993 Bre-X Mineral Corp. mining scandal. Bre-X Minerals Ltd. was based in Calgary involved in a major gold mining scandal when it reported that they found tons of gold in Indonesia. This would send this unknown company into a billion dollar company. however, by 1997 Bre-X Minerals collapsed after the gold samples were found to be a fraud.
