Casting Directors for Nick Jr. are currently holding a music talent search. They are seeking a singer, actor, and musician to develop into a musical act for the Nick Jr. audience. Must be an excellent singer with a pop/country sensibility that wants to be a PRESCHOOL Music Star. Must appeal to both a youth audience (4 to 7 year olds) and a family audience (the parents of 4 to 7 year olds).

[THE PERFORMER] Male or Female. Age 18 to Early 30s. Ethnicity open. Seeking a singer/actor/musician to develop into a musical act for the Nick Jr. audience. Must be an excellent singer with a pop/country sensibility that wants to be a PRESCHOOL Music Star. Must appeal to both a youth audience (4 to 7 year olds) and a family audience (the parents of 4 to 7 year olds). Playing a musical instrument while singing a plus. Songwriting a plus. Bright, fun, child friendly energy a must. Must be comfortable with the possibility of both live musical performance and on camera musical performance. Note: We are also open to submissions of duo/trio acts of musician/singers. (MUST NOT BE CURRENTLY SIGNED TO A MUSIC LABEL.)
