“Lone Survivor” Starring Mark Whalberg Open Casting Call

Lone Survivor is an upcoming film based on the failed June 28, 2005 mission, “Operation Red Wing”. Four members of Seal Team 10, were given orders to capture or kill notorious Taliban leader, Admad Shad. Marcus Luttrell was the only member of his team that was able to survive.

This upcoming film will star Talyor Kitsch as Mike Murphy, Mark Whalberg as Marcus Luttrell, as well as Eric Bana, Alexander Ludwig, Emile Hirsch, and Ben Foster. Lone Survivor will be directed by Peter Berg who previously directed Battleship, Hancock. Smokin’ Aces, and previously created the screenplay for The Losers.

This Action Drama will definitely be a hit in the box office. But currently, casting directors are now casting for various roles in the upcoming film for those located in the Arizona/New Mexico Area. According to the New Mexico Film Office, Lone Survivor, which will begin filming in the Santa Fe/Albuquerqueareas later this month, is holding an open casting call for extras on Saturday, September 8 from 10 am to 2 pm at the Double Tree Hotel, 4048 Cerrillos Rd in Santa Fe, NM. The production is specifically looking for Middle Eastern men, women and children, Hispanic men with beards and men of all races with recent military experience.
