There are many big names attached. Background Talent on this needs to stay amazing! Let’s make this THE best show. We do not start shooting for at least a couple of weeks. However, we need to select our Police in Uniform and Tact Talent now. This will allow costume department to order your uniform and assure that it fits well. You don’t want the wrong size and they have to ‘hide you’. No…you will want to work a lot on this great opportunity.
As on all of these big shows now, we need to comply with COVID guidelines as long as we have them. Covid testing is located at Chicago Studio City. All Zone A actors/background will be required to be fully vaccinated with booster. You will bring your vaccination card to their office before or after testing, per Sony policy, They can only accept ‘in person’ cards. Please do not email them.
Rate of Pay is the standard $120 for up to 8 hours, plus time and one half overtime PLUS $50 covid stipend. $30 for up to 2 hours for costume fitting. Free parking as usual. Chicago area.
We love our ‘real’ cops. However, the budget is paying the regular extra rate for everyone due to the volume we will be casting. If you are ‘real’ and willing to work at the regular extra rate, please note that in your submission. From time to time, we may ask for a few ‘real’ in addition. This post is for the regulars that we need to count on.
Please email a couple of current color photos (current hair) of yourself with no sunglasses or anyone else in the photo (even if you are on file with us). Clean shaven is preferred, along with clean cut haircut.
We will most likely film until mid-August. If you can make yourself totally available, please indicate in your email. If you have just a few commitments and would still like to be considered, mention the dates you are not available. If selected, you would start in the first episode, which starts shooting in a few weeks.
There is not much more we can say right now until after our meetings as offices are just now opening up.
We need ALL of your sizes including height, weight, jacket, shirt, pants, and shoes. Give us your best cell phone # to receive texts. This number will be in the RABS system for payroll and check-in. We found it to be the most reliable for tracking. SESSIONS PAYROLL will be cutting the checks. We found them to be one of the best. Let us know if you have any visible tattoos or anything we should know about that could affect your role.
Our Erika will be our Costume professional working with Wardrobe Department. Our Torri will help you with Covid Guidelines and work with the compliance team. Andrew and Pat will be assisting also. Only the best for the best! They are very professional and will be a pleasure to work with. Darlene will be conducting all of the Background Talent and Stand In casting.
We should also concentrate on mostly Illinois tax residents for their tax breaks.

FX ‘Justified’ Casting Old Model Cars 80-90’s
We do need more African American submissions for Thursday.
Also, need a few OLDER cars (80s/90s) to use the trunks for the Vendors. $40 stipend. Thanks!
For JUSTIFIED for Day 2, THURSDAY, May 5th, we need ND background talent AND a few CAR DRIVERS. No white or bright colored cars. Please indicate if you would prefer working with OR without your car. This is our big day for the first and second episodes. A few will be booked as VENDORS selling goods out of the trunk of your car. If you are submitting for this extra role and can have a clean trunk they can dress to supply your goods which they will provide, please indicate that in your email.
These scenes will film in Chicago. As usual, parking is always paid.

FX’ Justified: City Primeval’ Casting Playing Kids
There is one opportunity that we know of so far for a few MINORS on the first episode of JUSTIFIED: City Primeval filming Thursday, May 5th, with covid testing about 48 hours prior (most likely ‘next’ Tuesday at Chicago Studio City). It is supposed to take place in Detroit on this show. Filming in Chicago.

We are in prep now for episodes 1 and 2. Do not know yet what episode 3 of 8 will need. However, check your child’s work permit (ages 8–11 years old/any ethnicity) to see if it is expired. If your child’s work permit is still CURRENT and you are available Thursday, May 5th, to commit if booked (we cannot overbook these few kids). Rate of Pay: $135 (minor only) plus $50 (minor and guardian) for coming in for required covid testing. Any ethnicity boy or girl.

About FX’s Justified: City Primeval:
According to Deadline, Quentin Tarantino is in early talks to direct one or two episodes of Justified: City Primeval. The upcoming FX limited series will reunite Timothy Olyphant as U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens.
This is not the first time Tarantino and Olyphant worked together. The duo worked on the hit movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
FX’s Justified was canceled seven years ago, and FX, Sony Pictures Television, and FX productions teased a revival last year. Olyphant is executive producing alongside showrunners and writers Dave Andron and Michael Dinner and original series creator Graham Yost, with Dinner acting as the lead director of the FX series.
FX’s Justified won two Emmys and was nominated for eight, including one for lead Olyphant and winning a Peabody.
Deadline reports the show takes place eight years after Givens’ left Kentucky and now is based in Miami, balancing life as a marshal and part-time father of a 14-year-old girl. An incident sends him to Detroit, where he crosses paths with Clement Mansell, aka The Oklahoma Wildman, a violent sociopath.
Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly are also executive producers on Justified: City Primeval, alongside Peter Leonard, Taylor Elmore, and Chris Provenzano. Walter Mosley is consulting producer, and V.J. Boyd, Eisa Davis, and Ingrid Escajeda are writers.
