Jim Carrey is apparently in really bad shape following his ex-girlfriend’s suicide attempt.
According to the Chicago Sun Times a source close to Jim Carrey revealed that the actor is “completely inconsolable” over the suicide of his girlfriend, Cathriona White. While several media outlets have reported that the actor and aspiring actress had been broken up and were in the the process of getting back together, a source close to the Sun Times revealed that the two were still in a relationship.
My own Carrey source said Monday, “I have never seen Jim more upset about anything, and we’ve been friends for a long, long time. He was very much in loved with Cathriona.” [Source]
White committed suicide September 28 and when the Los Angeles Police discovered her body in her home, they also found a collection of prescription pills that belonged to Jim Carrey.
Carrey is not only devastated by White’s death, but was allegedly completely unaware that she used an alias used by Carrey to buy the bottles of Ambien, Propranolol and Percocet, found near her body.
Jim Carrey has not been seen in public since Cathriona White’s suicide. But, he released a statement. in the statement he said, “I am shocked and deeply saddened by the passing of my sweet Cathriona… My heart goes out to her family and friends and to everyone who loved and cared about her. We have all been hit with a lightning bolt.”
