NBC’s ‘Chicago Med’ Season 6 is Now Hiring Chicago Actors

NBC’s Chicago Med is now casting stand-ins in ChicagoIllinois.

Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming in Chicago, Illinois starting this July 2019.

Producers are seeking the following types:

  • Searching for a Caucasian male, 30’s to 60’s, 6’3 to 6’5, 230 to 250 lbs, dark hair, clean shaven, to work as one of the main stand-ins (same height and coloring as actor to use in place of actor to light and block the set), almost every day, Monday thru Friday, and an occasional Saturday, on “Chicago Med”.
  • Searching for a full time standin for a main character on “Chicago Med”. Female African American, 30’s to 50’s, 5’3 to 5’5″, slender to medium build, dark hair.

The city’s most highly skilled medical team saves lives, while navigating their unique interpersonal relationships. The Gaffney Chicago Medical Center’s elite team of dedicated doctors, nurses and staff face challenges each day as they do what it takes to treat their patients, sometimes in surprisingly inventive ways. CASTING STANDIN ALERT! Searching for a Caucasian male, 30’s to 60’s, 6’3 to 6’5, 230 to 250 lbs, dark hair, clean shaven, to work as one of the main stand-ins (same height and coloring as actor to use in place of actor to light and block the set), almost every day, Monday thru Friday, and an occasional Saturday, on “Chicago Med”.

To apply send a recent color photograph with your current hair style and length, height (without shoes), weight, age, and clothing sizes to [email protected] and put “C SI” in the subject line.

List any standin experience you might have, or list set experience. You must have a current government ID and a social security card to work on set.


CASTING ALERT! Searching for a full time standin for a main character on “Chicago Med”. Female African American, 30’s to 50’s, 5’3 to 5’5″, slender to medium build, dark hair.

We start shooting on July 12th and shoot thru the beginning of April. We shoot Monday thru Friday with an occasional Saturday.

We will need to show a few different choices and this will require meeting the assistant directors some time next week.
