Spike TV’s “Frankenfood” is casting culinary masters in the Paramus, New Jersey area.
Are you a fearless cook who thinks of nothing of, putting together meatloaf, but instead of ground beef using 3 pounds of bacon, you might want to consider trying out for “Frankenfood,” Spike TV’s lastest culinary competition series, which is holding a casting call in Paramus, New Jersey later this month.
NJ.com was the first to report the casting call:
Both professional chefs and home cooks are welcome to apply, so long as they’ve got a weird but winning food combination. This isn’t a gross-out food show, the casting directors warn … although they do offer up yolk-topped Sloppy Joe beignets as a good example of what they’re looking for. Those who make it to the show will compete for $10,000 cash and the chance to get their dish featured on a restaurant menu. (NJ.com)
Casting Call Details:
The casting call is at Chef Central in Paramus, 240 Route 17 North, on Nov. 22, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Prospective contestants must bring their dish to the call (at least one serving size), as well as a photo of themselves.
If you are unable to apply at the open casting call, you can also apply online. Visit sharpentertainment.com/casting/frankenfood/. Submit your name, hometown, phone number and a brief description of yourself and your dish, and photos of yourself and your dish.
