Casting Call for “The Righteous Gemstones” in Charleston, SC
Job Description: We are casting various roles for an upcoming church scene in “The Righteous Gemstones” TV series. This is an excellent opportunity to participate in a high-profile production filmed in Charleston, SC. We need a diverse group of individuals to fill specific roles, including churchgoers, drivers, greeters, and more.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform designated roles during the filming of a church scene.
- Follow directions from the director and production team to ensure smooth filming.
- Maintain punctuality and professionalism on set.
- For certain roles, provide your own vehicle for use in the scene.
Roles and Requirements:
- Strip Mall Shoppers with Vehicles
- 15 individuals with vehicles (not white or bright red)
- Must have a valid driver’s license and own a suitable vehicle
- Gemstones Chauffeured SUV Drivers
- 3 individuals to drive SUV vehicles provided by the production
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Gemstones Greeters / Valets
- 3 individuals to greet and assist with valet duties
- Satellite Church Goers
- 30 individuals, including a few families with kids
- Kids Choir
- 16 children aged 8-15 from a previous scene (replacements will be similar in age if needed)
- Gemstones Pastor
- 1 individual to portray a pastor
- Simkins Church Goers
- 53 individuals, including a few families with kids
- Adults should have vehicles available for filming
- Simkins Mascots
- 3 individuals to perform as mascots
- Simkins Greeters / Valets
- 3 individuals to greet and assist with valet duties
Compensation Details:
- Compensation will be provided for participation in the filming.
- Specific rates and additional details will be communicated upon selection.
