Casting Call for “AND JUST LIKE THAT” – Mourners
Job Description: Grant Wilfley Casting is seeking individuals to portray mourners for an upcoming episode of the Max series “AND JUST LIKE THAT.” This role involves participating in a funeral scene for a well-known and respected Black Theater Owner in New Jersey. The shoot will take place on Wednesday, 6/26, in Manhattan. We are looking for a diverse group of people to authentically represent the artistic, theatrical, political, and local communities of Newark.
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray a mourner attending the funeral of a notable Black Theater Owner.
- Engage in the scene as directed by the production team.
- Maintain the appropriate demeanor and respect required for a funeral scene.
- Follow the guidance of the director and production staff to ensure a seamless performance.
Requirements:
- Men and women, aged 20s to 80s.
- Must fit into one of the following categories: artists, theater types, politicians, or Newark locals.
- Ability to work on Wednesday, 6/26, in Manhattan.
- Must be comfortable working in an interior setting.
- Note the last scene/date you worked on the series if you have worked recently.
Compensation Details:
- This background performer role is not covered by a SAG-AFTRA Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
- Compensation details will be provided upon selection.
