Michael Myers is back in Blumhouse’s first trailer for Halloween.

Horror production company Blumhouse Productions, the production company behind Get Out, has released the first trailer to their Halloween sequel. Project Casting first shared the open casting call for the new Halloween movie as it filmed in Charleston, South Carolina. Now, with all the features that made the franchise so iconic, the new movie is set 40 years after Michael Meyers’ first Halloween night massacre, the maniac murderer escapes from a mental institution and immediately starts a new killing spree. Jamie Lee Curtis reprises her role as Laurie, the primary protagonist tasked with stopping Michael, while the David Gordon Green-directed cast features Judy Greer, Will Patton, and Omar Dorsey.
