“Degenerate” open casting call in Atlanta: Calling all Extras and Stand-ins!

Attention Atlanta actors! Are you a talented and enthusiastic actor looking to be part of an action/thriller movie? A new film project titled “Degenerate” now accepts submissions for extras and stand-ins to be part of the cast.

The project is currently seeking talented and dedicated actors who are passionate about their craft and are excited to portray various supporting roles in the film. The film is scheduled to begin shooting in Atlanta this Saturday, and the production team is eager to find the perfect candidates for the various roles.

If you are interested, several roles are available as stand-ins, including Shotgun, Freddy, and Kelly. Candidates must have a strong resemblance to the supporting actor they will stand in for and be available for the shoot dates listed on the casting call.

In addition to stand-ins, several roles are available for featured and background extras. These include the featured poker player (aged 30-60), golf club members and waitstaff, Napoli staff, Uber drivers, and escorts. Specific requirements such as serving experiences, a valid license, or owning a newer model sedan will be necessary for some of the roles.

Compensation for extras and stand-ins is competitive, starting at $150/12 and upwards, depending on the role. The shoot dates vary, and some roles require overnight shoot dates.

Being part of the “Degenerate” project is an excellent opportunity for young and aspiring actors to get experience and connect with other industry professionals. On set, you will work alongside experienced actors and producers and receive guidance and mentorship to help you hone your craft.

Action/Thriller “DEGENERATE” will begin filming this Saturday in ATL!

We have very few extra roles available for this film so we will be very selective over who we book! Please be sure to follow the submission instructions and guidelines for photos.

Seeking the following:

SHOTGUN (STAND IN): 

• 35 to 65 years old, white man. Between 5’2″ and 5’5″. Slim to average build. Preferably bald, but not a requirement.
• Stand in for supporting actor. 
• Rate: $175/12
• Shoot Dates: 5/7, 5/8, 5/11, 5/18, 5/19, 5/20, 5/21, and 5/22

FREDDY (STAND IN):  

• 20 to 35years old, white male. Between 5’9″-5’10”. Slim to average build. Dark short hair.
• Stand in for supporting actor. 
• Rate: $175/12
• Shoot Dates: 5/27, 5/30, 5/31, and 6/1

KELLY (STAND IN):  

• 20 to 35 years old, white female. Between 5’4″-5’6″. Slim to average build. Brunette.
• Stand in for supporting actor. 
• Rate: $175/12
• Shoot Dates: 5/12, 5/13, 5/14, 5/18, 5/30, 5/31, and 6/1

FEATURED POKER PLAYER:  

• Open ethnicity. Male. Ages 30-60. Rough around the edges.  Hardened.  Acting ability is a MUST. Poker playing ability is a HUGE plus.  
• There is one scene that will require the poker player to only be in his underwear. 
• Rate: $200/12

Dates: 5/12, 5/13, and 5/14

GOLF CLUB MEMBERS: 

• Open ethnicity. Open gender. Ages 30-65. White collar. Clean cut looks.  
• Rate: $150/12
• Date: 5/15

GOLF CLUB WAITSTAFF: 

• Open ethnicity. Male or female. Ages 20-40. White collar. Clean cut looks.  Serving experience is a plus! Will need to hold a tray.
• Rate: $150/12

NAPOLI STAFF:  

• Open ethnicity. Open gender. Ages 20-50. 
• Staff at a pizza restaurant. 
• Rate: $150/12
• Date: 5/25

UBER DRIVER:  Open ethnicity. Open gender. Ages 20-55. 

• Must have a valid license and own a newer model sedan or similar vehicle type.  (No red vehicles)
• Rate: $150/12 + $30 car bump
• Date: 5/26

ESCORTS:  

• Female. Open ethnicity. Ages 20-35.  Seeking tall, model types to portray high end escorts attending a poker game in a mansion. 
• Rate: $175/12
• Date: 5/30, 5/31, 6/1 (These will be OVERNIGHT shoot dates)

FAZIEL’S STAFF:  

• Open gender, open ethnicity.  Host and Waitstaff at a private mansion poker game. Clean cut.
• Rate: $175/12
