FOX’s new TV series, “Gotham” is holding an open casting call in New York City.
Grant Wilfley Casting is seeking people interested in working as background on the new FOX series GOTHAM.
The new TV series is based upon the Batman universe. Gotham, centers on the origin stories of Commissioner Jones Gordon played by Ben McKenzie, as a rookie detective in Gotham City, and Bruce Wayne after the death of his parents, and the villains that made Gotham City infamous.
Jada Pinkett Smith has also been cast to play Fish Mooney, a imposing, sadistic gangster boss and nightclub owner with street smarts.
The series is written and executive produced by The Mentalist show runner Bruno Heller.
Casting directors are looking for men and women of all ages and ethnicities. Filming begins in New York in July.
An open casting call will be held on Wednesday, June 25 from 10:30a-12p for SAG-AFTRA members and 1-5pm for NONUNION at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 328 W 14th St, New York, NY 10014.
