Germany

are background for the feature film ‘The Fifth Estate’ starring Benedict Cumberbatch.

“The Fifth Estate” is an upcoming feature film that will center on the legendary, and almost revolutionary in the last five years, Julian Assange the of Wikileaks.

OLV recently reported that, “the movie follows Domscheit-Berg (Daniel Bruhl), an early supporter and eventual colleague of Assange, during the early days of WikiLeaks, culminating in the release of a series of controversial and historical documents.”

As Wikileaks posts on their webpage that they are a non profit organization that “brings news and to the public.” This kind of philosophy landed Julian Assange in a pressure cooker of scrutiny and perhaps, betrayal. He is best known as the editor-in-chief and founder of WikiLeaks, which publishes submissions of secret information, news leaks and classified media from anonymous news sources and whistleblowers (Wiki).
