Casting Call: Background Extras for Upcoming Shoot
Job Description: We are seeking a few background extras for an upcoming film shoot taking place this Wednesday, July 17, in the West Loop, Chicago. This is an exciting opportunity for non-union actors to gain experience on set and potentially be featured in a prominent role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as background extras, contributing to the scene’s authenticity and atmosphere.
- Follow directions from the director and production team to ensure seamless integration into the scene.
- Maintain professionalism and punctuality throughout the shoot.
Requirements:
- Open to men and women aged 25-45 years old.
- A good mix of gender and diversity is desired.
- Must be non-union.
- Availability for the entire day on July 17, as the shoot could last up to 10 hours.
- Comfortable with the possibility of being upgraded to a “featured” extra role.
Compensation Details:
- Rate of Pay: $250 for up to 10 hours.
- One of the four extras may be upgraded to a “featured” role, catching some facial reactions, and will be paid $400 for up to 10 hours. The decision will be made on the day of the shoot.
- Parking expenses will be covered.
