CSI is a crime drama TV series that first aired on CBS in 2000. The show was created by Anthony E. Zuiker and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. It is primarily filmed in California. The series concentrates on Las Vegas crime scene investigators also working for the Las Vegas Police Department. CSI has been rewarded as the most popular dramatic series in the world by the Festival de Television de Monte Carlo and has an estimated world wide audience of 73.8 million viewers. In 2012, CSI was the most watched TV show in the world five times running. CSI features William Petersen, Marg Helgenberger, Jorja Fox, and Gary Dourdan in association with Jerry Bruckheimer Television, Alliance Alantis and CBS Productions.
