Short film seeks unique men for supporting roles in Los Angeles, CA.
Are you a man in LA between the ages of 25-33? Do you have unique features that set you apart, such as big ears, freckles, or gap teeth? Do you possess an awkward, clumsy, smart but hip aesthetic? If so, you may be the perfect fit for a supporting role in an upcoming short film.
The filmmakers are seeking actors who can bring a distinctive look and energy to the project. If you have ever felt self-conscious about your appearance, this is your chance to turn that into a strength. The casting team is particularly interested in performers who can convey a sense of vulnerability and humanity through their physicality and demeanor.
Shooting for the short film will take place on 5/14/2023, so applicants must be available on that date. The rate for the role is $250 for a 12-hour shoot day. Any ethnicity is welcome to apply, and no prior acting experience is necessary.
If you are interested in auditioning, please submit your headshot, resume, and contact information to the casting team. Be sure to highlight any unique features or skills that you think would make you stand out. If you are selected, you will be asked to read a short scene and possibly participate in a brief improvisation exercise.
This is a great opportunity for aspiring actors to gain experience and exposure in the film industry. Even if you don’t land the role, the audition process can be a valuable learning experience. So don’t be shy – show the casting team what you’ve got, and who knows? You might just be the perfect fit for this exciting project.
