The upcoming movie “Rivals of Amziah King,” starring Matthew McConaughey, will be set in remote Oklahoma.
The crime thriller, “The Rivals of Amziah King,” written and directed by Andrew Patterson (known for “The Vast of Night”), will feature Matthew McConaughey as the lead actor.
The film’s plot details are being kept secret, but it is said to be a crime thriller set in remote Oklahoma with a strong emphasis on character development and atmosphere. Matthew McConaughey is set to star as the lead character named Amziah King.
The movie’s producers are David Heyman from Heyday Films, Teddy Schwarzman and Michael Heimler from Black Bear, and Jeffrey Clifford, Will Greenfield, and Patterson from Heyday. The Executive Producers of this project are Rob Silva from Heyday and John Friedberg and Christopher Casanova from Black Bear.

It is being discussed that McConaughey might play a role in the sequel of Yellowstone, which has yet to have a title.
