If you have missed Beetlejuice, you will not have to wait much longer to get your Beetlejuice fix!
The franchise has decided to return to the big screen.
It is rumored that Tim Burton might return as the director for this project.
Seth Grahame has written the script and will produce it.
Tim Burton also said that he does not really care for sequels, so he anticipated that second time he will develop a completely different type of character. But expect to see Michael Keaton in the sequel as well!
The New York Daily News recently wrote an article about the upcoming Beetlejuice sequel:
Burton just wrapped up production on the Weinstein Co.’s “Big Eyes, ” a biopic about painter Margaret Keane, and Keaton recently finished work on the “Robocop” remake.
The original “Beetlejuice” made $73 million at the box office during its first run, a healthy enough total to pave the way for both Burton and Keaton to springboard to “Batman” the following year.
We are looking forward to seeing how this project pans out. Don’t worry we will keep you updated on any casting opportunity as soon as they become available.
