Mama June from Honey Boo Boo is either loves sexual offenders or just loves making bad decisions.
Things keep getting worse for “Mama June” and the Honey Boo Boo family. It all started about a month ago when photos surfaced of Mama June spending time with Mark McDaniel a convicted child molester who was recently released from prison after molesting Mama June’s daughter. TLC would later pull the reality show off the air.
Now, according to reports, June is admitting to being involved with another sex offender who she claims fathered daughters Jessica and Pumpkin. In an interview with ET, Mama June opened up about her relationship with McDaniel and the father of two of her children:
Jessica and Pumpkin have the same dad, but Jessica’s dad has had nothing to do with her over the years. So, why the hell would I open up that can of worms until today? I lied to my family and told them it was somebody else.
The father Mama June tried to hide and keep a secret is Michael Anthony Ford, a 37 year old convicted sex offender who was sent to prison for sexual exploitation after getting caught on an episode of NBC’s To Catch a Predator in 2005.
I was sitting right there with twelve other people. It was a conversation that she wanted her answers: what happened, why did he leave, you know, if he was her real father. He admitted to her, no. I had already told her that but, you know, she wanted to hear from both sides of the story.
According to TMZ, Mama June owes nearly $5,000 dollars to the woman who took care of June’s daughter after she was molested by June’s boyfriend. June’s mother, Sandra Hale, because the guardian of Anna/aka Chickadee in 2003, a year after mark McDaniel forced the eight year old to perform oral sex on him.
When the guardianship was created, June was required to pay her mom $100 a month in child support. But fast forward to 2009, when the Henry County D.A. filed criminal contempt charges against June, claiming she was way behind on her payments — $4,144.62 behind.
