The Onion is an American digital media company and news satire organization. It runs an entertainment website featuring satirical articles reporting on international, national, and local news.
Casting directors are looking for actors, models, and talent to work on an upcoming sketch for TheOnion.com. Producers are looking for an actor to unbox a family (a mother and two kids). Filming will take place on Monday, January 12th in Chicago, Illinois. Talents that are selected will be compensated $25 for the day.

CASTING CALL: THE ONION
Headline: Family Unboxing (in this series of unboxing) The concept is simple, its our actor unboxing something every time but there’s always a quirky twist. This one is him unboxing a family (a mother and two kids)
SHOOT DATE: Monday, 01/12/15
TIME: TBD
LOCATION: Onion Offices, Chicago
Rate: $25/person (shoot will take two hours at most)
ROLES:
1. TEEN GIRL – all ethnicities, ages 14-16
2. YOUNGER BROTHER – all ethnicities, ages 10-12
3. MOM- all ethnicities, ages 40-50
We will be matching the roles to look like a family. So if you want to submit as a family that is great too.
All kids under age 16 must have a current, valid work permit with 4 Star Casting or a talent agent.

2) Put your name, phone number, email, height, weight in the body of the email
3) State that you are available for the shoot date.
4) State that you have a current, valid work permit with 4 Star casting or a talent agent.
5) Attach a recent jpeg photo of yourself. No selfies.
