Harrison Ford revealed at Comic-Con that he didn’t want to do another ‘Star Wars’ movie.
The cast and filmmakers of ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ revealed a new reel filled with behind-the-scenes clips and information at Comic-Con.
Filmmaker J.J. Abrams and Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy were joined on stage Friday by ‘Star Wars’ cast members.
Harrison Ford made his first public appearance since his near death experience in March following a plane crash which left him hospitalized and injured. Ford told the crowd that he was fine.
But, Harrison Ford revealed that he wasn’t too interested in working on a new ‘Star Wars’ movie.
“It should have felt ridiculous, it was 30 years ago,” Ford said. “I sort of grew up.”
He never thought that he’d do another film after the original trilogy.
“I was very gratified when I read the script because I read something that I thought was really remarkable, really well-written and with some very intriguing developments,” Ford said. “I was delighted to be involved and I was very happy to be part of the story and the cast again.”
‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ hits theaters on December 18th and takes place 30 years after the events of ‘Return of the Jedi’.
