Hollywood just gave pro-Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign super PAC 4.5 million dollars.
According to reports, Steven Spielberg, J.J. Abrams and several major Hollywood producers donated to Hillary Clinton’s Super PAC, Priorities USA.
From THR:
Hollywood has donated $4.5 million to the super PAC allied with Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, according to figures filed with federal regulators Friday.
Media mogul Haim Saban and wife Cheryl each contributed $1 million to Priorities USA, whileJeffrey Katzenberg and Steven Spielberg each gave $1 million. J.J. Abrams and wife Katie McGrath gave a combined $500,000 to the group, which raised $15.6 million in the first six months of this year.
Why does Hollywood want Hillary Clinton in office? According to reports, organized labor is a major decision factor for Hollywood producers.
But, at the end of the day the 4.5 million dollars is nothing in comparison to Jeb Bush’s super PAC which raised $103 million during the first six months of 2015.
