Jim Carrey’s ex-girlfriend, Cathriona White, was called a “failure” days before she killed herself.
Cathriona White allegedly received a number of messages from her biological mother, Brigid Sweetman, a few days before she committed suicide, a new report claims. Her mother reportedly called her a “failure” in life after she and Jim Carrey, who is 53, broke up on September 24th.
Sources close to TMZ say friends of Cathriona had informed the police of her mother’s hateful messages just days before she killed herself. But the story gets worse. Local authorities report that not only did they find the existence of those messages but, this is not the first time Cathriona tried to commit suicide.
After she lost her father in 2012, Cathriona went into a deep depression, which led to her first attempt at suicide. Sadly, three years later, on the anniversary of her father’s death, the actress lost her life due to a toxic drug overdose.
According to a source who read the note, the letter included the words, “Jim, I love you. Please forgive me. I’m not for this world.”
The insider said she also begged Carrey, 53, to “take care” of her burial and distribute her assets to her grieving family.
The Irish-born actress took her own life on September 28, just a few days after her 30th birthday. Cathriona was found dead in her Los Angeles home by two of her friends, surrounded by a suicide note that was addressed to Jim Carrey and three prescription drug bottles that allegedly belonged to her ex-boyfriend. They contained Ambien, Percocet and Propranolol. The three were prescribed to a fake person Jim reportedly used in the past. But at the time, he was allegedly unaware Cathriona had taken them.
