Job Description

An upcoming comedy project is seeking a female Toronto-based BTS (behind-the-scenes) videographer to capture cinematic production footage and create engaging social-first content. This role is ideal for a creative professional who understands how to balance polished cinematic visuals with fast-paced, vertical content tailored for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

The selected videographer will document behind-the-scenes moments during production while also crafting short-form clips and recap footage suitable for digital distribution.

Job Responsibilities

• Capture cinematic behind-the-scenes footage during production

• Film both candid moments and structured content beats

• Frame content with social media platforms in mind (including vertical 9:16 formats)

• Deliver short-form social clips and select recap edits

• Collaborate with the creative team to highlight key production moments

• Manage basic audio capture as needed

Requirements

• Female videographer based in Toronto

• Experience shooting BTS content on film, comedy, or music sets

• Strong understanding of social media pacing and framing

• Comfortable capturing spontaneous and intentional content moments

• Ability to deliver short-form edits efficiently

• Reel or portfolio showcasing social and BTS work

• Availability during production

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with comedians or live events

• Familiarity with vertical content capture (9:16 framing)

• Own camera and basic audio kit

Compensation Details

• Paid: $1,000 (including edits)

• Deliverables include short-form social clips and recap footage
