Job Description

A paid, self-funded documentary production is seeking a local Director of Photography / Camera Operator for an upcoming shoot in Wicklow, Ireland. The production is looking for an experienced professional who can capture high-quality documentary footage and collaborate closely with a small creative team.

This is a short-term, paid opportunity ideal for a skilled DoP or camera operator with documentary experience and a strong visual storytelling approach.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as Director of Photography and/or Camera Operator for a documentary shoot

• Capture high-quality video footage in a documentary-style setting

• Collaborate with the production team to achieve the creative vision

• Manage camera equipment and ensure proper setup for various shooting conditions

• Deliver professional-grade footage suitable for final edit

Requirements

• Must be local to or able to work in Wicklow, Ireland

• Proven experience in documentary cinematography

• Strong technical knowledge of camera systems and lighting setups

• Ability to work independently and efficiently on a self-funded production

• Professional reel demonstrating relevant documentary work
