Jennifer Lawrence takes off with Chris Pratt in the first Passengers trailer.
The Atlanta filmed Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt movie, Passengers, is ramping up their marketing efforts this week by releasing their first big screen trailer.
Passengers centers around Aurora, a writer from New York who has joined a 120-year, maiden space voyage to Homestead Colony II. Pratt’s character, a mechanic named Jim, is also on the vessel, filled with more than 5,000 passengers. The two meet when they are paced together by chance when their sleeping pods malfunction and they wake up 90 years early. Hailing from two different classes on the ship, Jim and Aurora are not friends at first but, they soon seem to fall in love until an emergency threatens the future of the space vessel.
The feature film filmed across Atlanta, Georgia. Passengers hits theaters on December 21st.
