An HBO documentary recreation is casting five supporting roles for general high school students. Filming will take place in simulated snowy environments, requiring expressive performances and physical comfort in the cold.

Job Responsibilities

  • Portray high school students engaging in both lighthearted and emotionally intense group scenes

  • Participate in scenes involving simulated cold, snow, and crisis conditions

  • React non-verbally to a range of emotions including excitement, fear, discomfort, and distress

Requirements

  • Male or female presenting, must be 18+ and appear between 15–18 years old

Compensation

  • $400/day + 20% agency fee

  • Wardrobe stipend available if personal clothing is used

  • Gear and haircut stipends provided if requested by production

  • All child talent must have parental or guardian supervision and be available before the school year begins

  • Young Balkan Man (Early 20s, Balkan): Newly arrived in NYC, reserved, must speak with a Balkan accent.

  • Older Man (60s–70s, Middle Eastern or Central European): Physically imposing, loud, talkative, politically aware.

  • Two NYC Hustlers (Late teens–early 20s, Any Ethnicity): Must know each other in real life; street-smart, high-energy, unpredictable duo.

Compensation

  • Rate: $1,000 total per actor (includes one rehearsal + one overnight shoot)
