An upcoming Vertical production is looking for a well-trained, camera-ready dog for a featured role in a film shooting in the Vancouver area. This exciting opportunity is open to calm, confident dogs with strong obedience training and experience or readiness for film set environments. If your dog is comfortable working on set and can perform on cue, this role is perfect for showcasing their talent.
Job Responsibilities

Perform the “play dead” cue convincingly and remain relaxed and still during takes

Respond to perfect recall from the handler or trainer on command

Remain calm and focused on a professional film set environment with cast and crew
Requirements

Dog must be medium to large-sized (for camera visibility), though all breeds are welcome to apply

Must be well-socialized and handle busy environments with ease

Must be able to follow cues consistently and work under the guidance of a handler

A professional animal handler or owner must be present on set at all times

Available for five shoot days between May 20 and May 31 in the Vancouver area

All work will adhere to provincial animal welfare and safety guidelines
