Casting Call: Metal Musicians and Performers for Docudrama Series in Toronto
Job Description
A new docudrama series exploring the history of metal music is casting talent for upcoming episodes filming in Toronto. This immersive project seeks passionate metal musicians and performers who can embody the raw energy and look of the metal scene from various decades. All roles are silent on camera (SOC) and may include costuming that reflects the bold, expressive style of the metal era. Non-union talent only.
Job Responsibilities

Perform on camera in character-specific scenes

Play instruments or convincingly portray live performances

Embrace authentic metal styling, including wardrobe and hair changes

Take direction well and maintain a professional attitude on set
Requirements

Must reside in the Greater Toronto Area and pay taxes in Ontario

Must be available for the scheduled filming dates

Comfortable with costuming including low-cut tops, tight pants, and shirtless/tank top looks

Willing to make facial hair adjustments if needed

Compensation
- $3,675 CAD per selected talent
- Non-union commercial project
- Buyout includes all edits, versions, and usage covered by production
