Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and proactive Runner II to support our Operations and Production team on-site for remote TV broadcasts. The Runner will be responsible for running errands, distributing information, coordinating announcer arrivals and departures, and handling other show-related tasks as directed. This position requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of basic broadcast operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist Operations and Production teams on-site by running errands and distributing information.
- Coordinate announcer arrivals and departures and assist with other logistical tasks.
- Be flexible in executing any task assigned, adapting quickly to the needs of the broadcast.
- Maintain clear communication with the operations team to ensure smooth event execution.
- Check in and out daily with the operations team to track task completion.
Requirements:
- Must live within 100 miles of the event site to be considered.
- Must be 21 years of age or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- A minimum of 8 shows worked as a regional-level runner in live remote productions is required.
- Must have reliable communication tools (cellphone, text, and email).
- Must possess a positive, proactive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the area and venue is highly desirable.
- Ability to lead other runners during the event.
- Demonstrated ability to remain positive and proactive in a high-energy, dynamic environment.
