Job Description:
ReachOut, Australia’s leading online mental health and wellbeing service for young people, is embarking on a unique project to capture and share the experiences of young couples (aged 18 – 25) who come from different cultural backgrounds. This initiative aims to address young people’s desire to hear firsthand experiences about being in a culturally diverse relationship, including the joys and challenges encountered.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in a short-form video sharing personal stories and experiences of being in a relationship with a partner from a different cultural background.
- Engage in candid discussions about navigating cultural differences, challenges faced, and the strengths drawn from such relationships.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure authentic and respectful representation of personal stories.
Requirements:
- Couples where both individuals are aged 18 – 25.
- Partners must be from different cultural backgrounds to each other.
- Open to all genders, cultural backgrounds, and communities.
- Strongly encourage applications from First Nations people and/or LGBTQIA individuals.
- No acting experience is necessary.
- Must be comfortable sharing personal experiences on camera.
- Available to participate in the filming process as scheduled by ReachOut.
Compensation:
Successful applicants will be compensated with a payment of $1200 per couple for their time and contribution to this meaningful project.
