This role involves developing and coordinating dance workshops and projects within the Leeds community and touring areas across the UK.
Job Details:
- Salary: £23,000 (pro rata), progressing to a maximum of £27,000 based on experience and performance.
- Hours: 28 hours per week.
- Application Deadline: Expressions of interest should be submitted by 12 pm, Monday 13 November 2023.

Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging and innovative dance workshops tailored for diverse community groups.
- Coordinate and manage the logistics of workshop schedules, locations, and resources.
- Collaborate with local artists, dance instructors, and community leaders to enrich the program offerings.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of the dance projects on the community, providing regular reports and feedback.
- Engage in outreach activities to promote the workshops and attract participants from various demographics.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
- Provide mentorship and support to volunteers and junior staff members involved in the projects.
Requirements:
- A degree in Dance, Performing Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience in leading or coordinating dance workshops or community projects.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required by the project schedules.
- A passion for community engagement and a commitment to inclusivity and diversity in the arts.
- Ability to travel within the UK for project coordination and implementation.
