Job Detail: We are currently seeking talented male actors and non-actors for two key roles in an upcoming short film that explores the rich tapestry of South Asian culinary experiences in the heart of London. This project aims to capture the passion, creativity, and cultural significance of food through the lens of characters deeply connected to the world of professional cooking.
Job Responsibilities: The selected individuals will play pivotal roles as South Asian men with a background in professional cooking, specifically in kitchens or restaurants. The characters are integral to the narrative, and the actors/non-actors will be responsible for bringing authenticity and depth to their roles. The film will delve into the challenges, triumphs, and personal stories of individuals immersed in the culinary world, offering a unique perspective on the South Asian culinary scene in London.
Requirements:
- South Asian men in their 20s or 30s.
- Demonstrated experience in cooking professionally within kitchens or restaurants.
- Genuine passion for and knowledge of South Asian cuisine.
- Availability for filming in mid-December 2023.
- Must be located in or able to travel to London for the shoot.
Compensation:
- Competitive compensation will be provided for the selected actors/non-actors.
- Travel and accommodation expenses related to the shoot will be covered.
