Casting Call: Egale Canada Public Service Announcement
Job Detail: We are seeking Trans Men/Women and 2SLGTBQIA+ Individuals across Canada and New York for an Egale Canada Public Service Announcement. Egale Canada is an advocacy organization founded in 1986 with the mission to advance equality for Canadian lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals and their families.
Job Responsibilities: Selected individuals will portray Hero Trans and 2SLGTBQIA+ Characters in a public service announcement aimed at promoting equality and inclusivity. They will be expected to effectively convey the message and emotions of the script through their performance.
Requirements:
- Must identify as a Trans Man/Woman or 2SLGTBQIA+ Individual.
- Must be a resident of Canada or New York.
- Must have a valid passport.
- Ability to travel to Toronto for filming if not based in the city. Travel and accommodation expenses will be provided, in addition to $350 per travel day.
- Available for a total of 2 shoot days.
- Specific requirements for each role:
- Hero Trans Senior Individual – AFAB or AMAB. Age 50 – 80.
- Hero Trans Middle-aged Individual – AFAB or AMAB. Age 30 – 50.
- Hero Young 2SLGTBQIA+ individual. Age 18 to 30.
Compensation:
- Hero role honorarium: $1,000.00 per shoot day, per person, if selected. (2 shoot days)
- This is a union campaign. Non-union members are welcome to apply.

We are seeking English-speaking, French-speaking, and bilingual women, aged 25-35, for a commercial involving the “Silent Review Trend.” Talent will review products in a silent, expressive, and non-verbal manner using gestures and facial expressions. This promo aims to engage audiences with fun and relatable content.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review products silently, focusing on non-verbal communication.
- Express opinions clearly through gestures and expressions.
- Take direction well.
Requirements:
- Ability to perform without spoken dialogue.
- Women, aged 25-35, all ethnicities.
Compensation:
- $500/Session, $1000/Usage (One year digital).
