THE BEAR IS BACK FOR SEASON 2!!!!
We are posting to give a little info on the 2nd Season of the Bear to get you psyched and ready, as we are just a few weeks out from the start of filming!
Filming will go from Feb 21st – April 14th
This season, the Bear is a NON-MANDATED VACCINE PRODUCTION, which means there is no vaccination requirement. YOU ARE STILL REQUIRED TO COVID TEST PRIOR TO FILMING OR WARDROBE FITTING DATES JUST LIKE ALWAYS. We will not ask about your vaccination status, BUT if it is your own desire to disclose that information to 4 Star Casting and Health & Safety, you are welcome to do so. Please keep in mind, MASKS are going to be required at ALL TIMES unless filming or eating/drinking, social distancing is going to be recommended as much as possible, and you will still have to follow ALL Covid protocols this show asks.
The Bear creators are always looking for fresh faces with specific looks and will photo pick for roles. That said, to be on this show, you MUST HAVE CURRENT PHOTOS IN YOUR PROFILE TAKEN WITHIN THE LAST 3 MONTHS AND NOT OLDER. If you have updated your hairstyle, facial hair, general vibe, your profile must reflect your CURRENT look for us to be able to accurately submit you to the directors. Your photos must be in good lighting, from straight on, with no sunglasses, no selfies, using no filters. Please upload BOTH a FULL BODY shot and a FACE shot that accurately depict your current look. To be extra sure it is your CURRENT look, you may consider holding a piece of paper with today’s date on it in the photo.
All individuals interested in working on the show must have a VALID, UNEXPIRED license/ID. You must have either a document from column A or documents from BOTH columns B+C on the attached I-9 list to be eligible to work on the show. Proof of residency is also required for employment.
MINORS 15 AND UNDER are required to have a work permit to be allowed on set. Work permits are only valid for 1 year upon issuance, so if you have previously gotten a work permit for your child, you should double check that it is still valid (issued less than a year ago), and if not, please delete the expired work permit from your child’s profile and replace it with the new one. If you have trouble uploading a current work permit, please email it to [email protected] with subject line “UPDATED WORK PERMIT UPLOAD ISSUES”. If you need information on how to get a work permit, please check the minor registration link above and click through the preliminary pages until you get to the work permit info page that includes a checklist of all necessary documents including the 2022-2023 letter of intent to hire from 4 Star Casting. You MUST upload each minor’s work permit as jpeg or png – which should be named with the minor’s first and last name.
MINORS 17 AND UNDER are required to upload the Parent/Legal Guardian Data Collection Parental Verification and Consent affidavit (which is a new legal document, and not the parental form required to obtain the work permit) to their profiles. This can also be found on the minors section of our website. The PARENT AFFIDAVIT MUST be uploaded as a pdf. If you do not upload the forms (work permit, proof of age, and parent affidavit) in the required format, then your child’s profile will hover in an uncompleted, pending application and they will not be considered as eligible for the show. If you use a false document to upload and/or an expired work permit, upon our review we will delete the document and/or work permit, and make the account inactive until the proper documents are sent to us and verified.
We are looking forward to a great season THE BEAR!!
