Job Description

Corrugated Superintendent – Shift- 2nd (4:00 PM – Midnight)

Greif’s newest state-of-the-art Corrugated sheet facility in Palmyra, PA, is looking for a seasoned Corrugated Production Superintendent with strong knowledge and experience in the corrugated sheet business to safely and efficiently lead our 2nd shift team of colleagues. Our 2nd shift consists of 2 main machine centers (Corrugator & Asitrade). BHS Corrugator experience is required!

Compensation/Benefits – This position includes an above-market total compensation package as outlined below.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate effective leadership of mid-level management toward achieving operational goals
  • Effectively implements new performance management systems, production plans, and performance criteria; confirms production progress, responds to delays, takes corrective action, and records KPI performance.
  • Creates and implements improvement plans for the overall operation.
  • Ensures the team understands roles and responsibilities relating to the team and Greif.
  • Encourages joint problem-solving and individual development.
  • Supports Greif’s mission, follows the values of Greif, and works to better Greif’s business as a whole.
  • Manages and maintains safety observances, ensuring guards and safety features work and promoting good daily safety practices and habits.
  • Communicates goals and objectives, applies company policy, staffs, trains, coaches, recommends salary increases, administers discipline, ensures positive colleague relations, and reviews colleagues’ performance.
  • Maintain close connections and contact with other departments.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

  • Five or more years of relevant experience in the Corrugated Industry as a production leader.
  • BHS Corrugator Experience required

Knowledge And Skills

  • Knowledge of Corrugated Industry Operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Strong ability in problem-solving and multi-tasking.
  • Solid interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Extensive MS Office and ERP experience a plus

Compensation

  • Production Assistant: $220/12

  • Camera Operator/Drone: $650/12 + $150 drone kit fee

  • Audio Technician: $650/12 + $300 kit fee
