Position Summary

The Executive Producer will oversee the creation, scheduling, and filming of engaging content for a variety of platforms. In this collaborative environment, you will work directly with our Creative Director to execute visual media projects and meet/exceed monthly production goals and objectives. A successful candidate has 5+ years of experience in Executive Producing a production calendar, efficiently producing multiple simultaneous projects, through all stages of production. Our candidate is a strong visual storyteller, who can bring our brand’s unique style, tone and authenticity to the genres listed below.

Principle Accountabilities & Deliverables

  • Work with our Creative Director and Marketing Department to create and produce compelling, high-quality visual content.
  • Manage the day-to-day production schedule and activities of the Media Department.
  • Oversee every aspect of video creation including pre-production, production, and post-production.
  • Create and manage annual budget, tracking video and animation project costs.
  • Create production calendars, and schedules, making sure each project is delivered on time and on budget.
  • Hire and manage contracts and invoices of freelance videographers, editors, and various production staff.
  • Maintain quality control in regard to our brand, adhering to brand standards with all content.
  • Provide creative and practical input during all production phases.
  • Full digital data management: Managing, Coordinating, and archiving all video assets, including past video projects.
  • Must be (and continue to be) up to date on new cutting-edge trends in video production and storytelling.
  • Travel to occasional live events, to oversee the recording of footage, testimonials, and key elements as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Education / Experience / Background

  • Experienced Executive Producer with a proven track record.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in high-level Executive Producing.
  • MUST BE EXPERIENCED WITH COMPELLING/SUCCESSFUL/CUTTING-EDGE SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY.
  • Work well under pressure and produce the highest quality work on tight deadlines.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Efficient with strong attention to detail.
  • Work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Can work efficiently, and autonomously.
  • Administrative competency – working with multiple departments for deliverables.
  • *MUST have a strong interest in personal development, with history and track record to demonstrate said interest (books read, events attended, etc). This is required for culture fit.

Work Environment

  • Professional home office set up for all remote work (50%). Film shoots and live events will be 50%. Shoot locations are mostly in south Orange County, CA. Occasional travel to other states.
  • Regular business hours required (minimum 40+ hours per week).

  • Record clear, high-quality audio during on-location shoots.

  • Collaborate closely with the director, DP, and editor to maintain consistent sound design and tone.
