This bold musical drama follows a trio of friends trapped inside a solar cyclone as they face a life-altering choice—escape the sun or embrace its power. The piece explores masculinity, mental health, race, love, and legacy, featuring gospel-choir harmonies, interpretive dance, and an original soundtrack. Rehearsals take place in NYC, with performances held in Downtown Manhattan.

Job Responsibilities

The productions include August Wilson’s Jitney and To Be Young, Gifted, and Black, adapted from the works of Lorraine Hansberry. Both productions will be directed by Rachel Finley and offer performers the opportunity to share meaningful stories that have shaped generations.
