The Influencer Marketing Team Lead role exists to define and execute the global influencer strategy that will drive omni-channel sales for Zalando and, most importantly, grow brand love for Zalando. You’ll devise a plan for who we partner with, why and how. You’ll lead a team of talented influencer managers to position Zalando as a trailblazer when it comes to influencer marketing – ensuring we are moving to a ‘people of influence’ model rather than solely influencers and ensuring diversity and inclusion is at the heart of everything we do.

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED

  • Build brand heat and love through storytelling and partnership. Whether it’s a new TikTok star or a behind-the-scenes stylist to the stars, you’ll partner with the right people to give us credibility across the industry. With your team, you will unearth ‘people of influence’ and the strategic approaches that will position Zalando at the forefront of fashion, culture and communities.
  • Lead by example: You will have considerable leadership experience, establishing best-practise influencer marketing expertise. You will lead key influencer initiatives and a team of influencer leads in an empowering and collaborative manner. You’ll encourage everyone to bring their best to the new markets, focusing on constructive feedback, development and collaboration.
  • Keep people talking about Zalando. Our business is not just fashion, but culture. Through strategic creator partnerships, you’ll contribute to Zalando’s discourse around sustainability, self-expression, identity, and diversity and inclusion.
  • Know what success looks like: You’ll be accustomed to being analytical and tracking KPIs , managing projects from initial outreach and negotiation to 360 concept creation, campaign execution, KPI tracking, budgeting, reporting and analysis.
  • Act locally, think globally. You’ll be leading the strategy for our influencer marketing across the world, but you’ll know how to optimise global initiatives for local markets. Work with and lead different teams to share our vision and values.
  • Communicate fearlessly: Working across different business categories, you will figurehead the influencer division, making key decisions and strategically applying process-driven influencer marketing where required, and working toward campaign and business objectives.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 8 – 10 years experience within influencer marketing, based in fashion and lifestyle industries with globally established brands. Expertise, min. 2-3 years, leading and developing a strong team.
