ATL Casting is seeking extras for an upcoming project featuring major artists. We are looking for men and women to participate in a church scene, as well as males to portray “thug” characters. This is a paid opportunity for individuals who want to gain experience on set and be part of a high-profile production.
Job Responsibilities:
- Church Scene Extras:
- Portray churchgoers in a background role, adding to the atmosphere of the scene.
- Follow directions from the production team to ensure a realistic representation of a church setting.
- Maintain professionalism and be prepared for multiple takes.
- Thug Roles:
- Portray a “thug” character with a tough appearance.
- Be comfortable with a “thug” look and possibly visible tattoos (real or makeup-applied) for authenticity.
- Follow directions to enhance the scene’s intensity and contribute to the narrative.
Requirements:
- Church Scene Extras:
- Men and women, all ethnicities.
- Ages 18-70.
- No specific look required, just the ability to blend into a church setting.
- Thug Roles:
- Male, ages 18-35.
- Must have a “thug” look, such as a tough appearance or tattoos on the face or body (real or applied).
- All applicants must be able to work as local hires in Atlanta, GA.
Compensation Details:
- Pay rate: $150 for the day.
- Meals and on-set accommodations will be provided.
Casting for Dad Role in Major Sports Commercial
Job Description: We are seeking a confident Black man, aged 40-55, to play the role of a dad in a major sports commercial. This character has “papa bear” vibes and is a bit oafish, reminiscent of a lovable and quirky personality like Homer Simpson. The dad is a dedicated sports fan who is fiercely loyal to one team and one team only. This role requires someone who can bring humor and relatability to the character.
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray a dedicated, slightly goofy dad who is passionate about his sports team.
- Follow direction to bring out the humorous and relatable “papa bear” essence of the character.
- Participate in a wardrobe fitting to ensure the proper look and vibe are captured.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to create an authentic and engaging performance.
- Be timely, professional, and adaptable during the filming process.
Requirements:
- Gender: Male
- Age: 40-55
- Ethnicity: Black
- Must have a confident presence with a slightly oafish, lovable personality.
- Should embody strong “dad vibes” with a humorous touch, similar to Homer Simpson’s style.
- Comfortable expressing strong loyalty to one sports team in the role.
Compensation:
- Day Rate: $500 per day
- Additional Buyout: $500 for usage of the footage in the commercial
Casting for Sister Role in Major Sports Commercial
Job Description: We are casting a young, energetic Black or Mixed woman, aged 18-27, to play the role of a sister in a major sports commercial. The character is young, trendy, and deeply passionate about basketball, with an enthusiasm that mirrors her brother’s high-energy love for the game. This role will require a vibrant personality, someone who gets hyped and involved in the excitement of sports.
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray the sister of a basketball enthusiast, showing excitement and passion for the sport.
- Follow direction from the production team to bring the character’s trendy, sports-loving personality to life.
- Participate in a wardrobe fitting prior to the shoot to ensure the character’s look is accurately captured.
- Engage with the scene’s dynamic energy, showing authentic enthusiasm and hype for the game.
- Be professional, timely, and collaborative on set during the production.
